My very own superhero. ~ine. She currently has no name, but her powers involve forming tiny needles from metallic elements in her body, and shooting them out of her hands into people's pressure points ^_^ I intended to try out American comic style colouring, but gave up after a few attempts and just went for bold cel-style shading instead. Any hints on getting that beautiful typical American comic look?

You might think I'm just jumping on the bandwagon because superheroes seem to be in fashion these days, but no! I had crushes on the Human Torch, Gambit, Wolverine and Spiderman a long long time ago, thankyou

That's awesome! You said that you want to make it look more like an American comic? Why?! It looks better than most American comics as is. If you really want to Americanize her though, Marvel and DC typically make all their superheroes, even the girls very muscular...and they like putting them in skin-tight skimpy outfits and using bold colors. I think your normally proportioned super hero with muted colors looks a lot better though. ^_^

Just wanted to try out a different style

D I was also really enamoured with superheroes at the time, and the colouring style of modern American comics is really pretty. But thankyou ^_^

Hahaha but I've barely seen Mike this year! Maybe I'm just growing up and becoming more open minded ^_~ And most super girl outifts are skanky!
