Tis the ninja girl again, NOW IN COLOUR!!!

I've ended up calling her Midori Mai, because the names website that I consulted said that 'Mai' means bright, and 'Midori' means green, and I like alliteration. Here follows a long and rambling character description that only Naruto fans will understand. I think I put a lot of my personality into her 0_o

Mai is absent-minded, has no sense of direction, and has a habit of daydreaming. She's generally more calm and laid back than most female shinobi, although she isn't shy. She was blessed with natural intelligence and imagination, but doesn't usually use it to its full potential unless someone does something to bring out her competitive streak. Her memory only seems to be able to hold onto useless information, so she often ties pieces of strings around her fingers to remind her that she was supposed to do something, but always ends up forgetting what that something was. She makes friends easily, and is fiercely loyal to her closest companions. A perverted streak comes out as she gets older, but she takes pains to make sure that nobody sees it.

When she gets older, she writes a book that challenges the popularity of Jiraiya's Come Come Paradise and causes many a reader to blush ^_~

Mai was born into the Midori clan, who have run the Konoha hospital as far as anyone can remember. Both her parents are brilliant medic-nins, and her twin brother looks as if he will follow in their footsteps. Mai however doesn't have the discipline or chakra control for that occupation, although she still helps her parents at the hospital between training and missions. Mai passed her years at the Academy without trying, happy with the average grades she received by depending on talent alone. She knows that her brother is favoured for his studiousness and skill with medical jutsu, but doesn't seem to be bothered by it.

Her main jutsus revolve around manipulating light, into a shield, a light flare for a speedy get-away, or making an enemy see things by altering the way that light is reflected into their eyes. Mai doesn't have a huge amount of physical power, but her speed allows her to hit many times in succession, giving the same effect (just more tiring =_= ). Her chakra control is below average, so she relies on her genjutsu tricks and taijutsu in most battles.
