I'm not completely happy with this, but I'm running out of time to finish my portfolio [link]
This is my first real attempt at any kind of environment, and a first for lineless painting without copying a photo reference. The girl is my original character Chisa, and the island is the ChiGarden. There should be a purple monkey in there somewhere, but I forgot about him and too tired to add him in now
I still have a couple of days left before I have to hand this and the other pieces in, so if anyone can see problems and hopefully knows a good way to fix them I'll hopefully have time to tweak it. In particular the grass and the base of the island bug me, but I've tried without succeeding to fix them =/ Help is very much appreciated!
Oh and yes, the detail bits are pretty much the same size as the actual thing, which is a bit stupid... again, too tired to change it tonight! Will probably do so with the changes.
EDIT: Redid the base of the island and added some more shadows here and there =3 I think I can call this finished now so I'll stop bugging you all with it!

Thanks! I'm glad I didn't have to use a mouse XD Tablet all the way! The grass is one bit pasted over and over with bits painted over it, I'm hoping it doesn't look too repetitive

The only unusual thing I see is her shoulders are pretty big, and it looks like its almost to ears, which would be a painful position. But then again, im not to good at finding bad spots, so Im not sure if this was how it was supposed to be.
